Traditional Living Rooms
The brothers who own this home hadn’t made many changes in their living room since moving in a couple of years before. Obviously, it was high time they did.
After: Just Peachy
After a makeover inspired by the warm brick tones and fun atmosphere of a local sports bar, a peachy-brown color has been added on the walls, and a new area rug, artwork and drapes have been introduced. The coffee table was updated with a thick black border painted around the glass top, and two sleek new floor lamps flank the couch.
Before: Cluttered Room
The brothers were in desperate need of an entertainment unit to organize all their stereo equipment and TV wires. They also wanted the room to be a social space where they could relax.
After: Sleek Entertaining
The expansive new entertainment center easily accommodates the stereo and a new flat-screen TV. A magazine bin helps keep the clutter to a minimum, and the magnetic dartboard adds a little fun to the room. Simple touches like pillows and plant life add instant warmth to the space.
